My dad and I had a really troubled relationship, but this brought back a lot of memories from how I felt when he passed away.

You have a graceful and delicate touch Val, thanks for writing this.

What a lovely story. A perfect tribute.

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

Queenie thank you so much for reading and commenting. I tried to portray the gut-wrenching pain that comes with loss in this short little snippet. I'm glad it came across well but still heartbroken on the reason for the grief.

Thank you!

Hey Cuidadora!

Thanks for reading and commenting. So glad Clark's grief came across well. It was painful to write but I tried to make it as real and raw as I could.

Hey E!

Thanks so much for reading and commenting. I'm sorry if this brought up painful memories for you. I am glad this came across as real. I tried to pay tribute as much as I could to Eddie Jones' portrayal of Jonathan Kent and Clark / Jonathan's relationship as father and son.

Wonderful, powerful story. I do wish it was a little longer...the peek into Clark's mind and heart is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
