Enjoyable chapter. Clark discovers a meaning of "family" and there's a possible, kinda "first date" with Lois. The idea of these two shopping together is priceless.

I kept laughing while reading this chapter. Clark is now the city snob that Lois was in GGGoH. That's priceless! And the bickering between Clark and Bruce with Lois as peacemaker.

Looking forward to seeing more of Smallville and Clark's transformation.

I'm glad you caught on to that little flop I did. I rather enjoyed letting Clark be the cynical city-snob for a change. And, of course, letting Clark continuously needle Bruce was just so much fun. I tried to fit it in whenever I could.
