What if Superman went blond?

The first question, of course, is why? Was it a horrible accident? Was it on purpose? Is he doing it for charity, or as a means of differentiating Superman from Clark Kent? Does it even happen naturally, somehow? (maybe in lieu of turning gray?)

Furthermore, does Clark match? If not, how? and if so, how does he keep people from noticing his and Superman's color coordination? Or is this how people find out, and Utopia owes a debt to a bottle of bleach?

The accident: what if Superman helped out at a chemical plant and got exposed to a particularly aggressive chemical that simply bleaches his hair? And he doesn't even notice when spinning back into Clark Kent and returning to the office and Lois.
