In response to Kerth Challenge #2 I present you a lot sadder of a fic than I anticipated. This one is set after the Clone-Arc also known as the ARGH moment from cannon. The song is Back to You by Selena Gomez. The song that plays on repeat by my 13-year-old these days. Hope everyone enjoys. All comments welcome. Story

Awesome vignette! Man, those two never could catch a break. I'm glad they are eloping before Zara gets to Metropolis!

Aww love this! I always thought they should have explored this further. I mean I hated the whole terrible arc but when she finally did regain her memory, they basically acted like it ever happened. Well done!

Admittedly this story takes a jab at the writers for backing out at the last minute and not giving everyone the wedding we were promised. One would think after Luthor, clones, amensia, and brainwashing they wouldn't be leaving anything up to chance.... **steps off soapbox** The decision to elope seemed more appropriate in my mind anyway.

Well done! I know, right?! You two were walking down the aisle and then......pfffffft. Nothing. Nada. What gives? Thanks for reading jackiek! I'm glad you enjoyed my "fix" to the clone-arc situation.

What a delightful way to end the clone-AARGH-arc! Loved it. It definitely is in the "if only the writers had written this because it should have been this way" category! Brava!

So glad you enjoyed my little ficlet. Yes, I was looking for a way to end the dreadful ARGH that actually made sense. Thanks for reading and commenting.

I am definitely in the minority when it comes to the clone arc. Why? Because I actually like the story line from beginning to end. It was a very different way of keeping our favorite reporter duo apart for a few more episodes. I even felt a little sorry for the clone, especially since a very heartless Lex explained her life expectancy was very short. Acting wise, this gave Teri a chance to stretch, she did a superb job. Stolen were the moments she’d looked forward to sharing with her family and friends. No more lists. No more coordinators or giving in to demands that didn’t match up to the picture she imagined in her mind. She’d lost too much. She’d come so close to losing everything. Now all she wanted was to right the grievous wrong that had been bestowed upon her and Clark. This fic does a fantastic job of setting things to rights. Finally, happily, with no silly Wedding Destroyer getting in the way Lois and Clark are allowed to wed.

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.
