I believe kal lives in Krypton and Lois is offered to him as a concubine. She’s young and innocent and they fall in love only there is a war and they end up living in a rural area with Jonathan and Martha, who are not his parents but are close friends and who go by different names.

Sounds like The Wedlock Wall by Female Hawk. I can't remember if it was gfic or nfic or both though.

I also think you're looking for Female Hawk's The Wedlock Wall. It's an nfic that I couldn't find on the nfic archives, but is on these message boards. It takes place completely on Krypton, which explains some of the name changes.
