New to the boards, in a way - been a member since 2007 (apparently) but never posted, and haven't been much in the fandom in recent years. Last year, I re-watched L&C, and renewed my love for the show (once upon a time, it was the very first fandom I ever read fanfic in, back somewhere in 1998). In the many years since, I've written a bunch of stories for other fandoms (bananacosmicgirl on AO3 has some of them).
I've now written a 19 000 words long story, a re-take on Top Copy, because though I love the episode, the "medicine" always irritated me. The story has a lot of hurt!Clark for obvious reasons. I'd like a beta for characterization, fitting it into the right timeline (because I especially mix up where in the timeline of their romance they are), grammar, spelling and anything else that might need to be fixed. Rated PG/PG-13.
