[Linked Image] Why is there a naked Clark Kent in Lois’s bedroom?
LOIS: Clark Kent? Don’t you mean Superman?
CLARK: Funny thing…

Quotes:
1. Ooooh! The one from ATAI. And it’s an introspection piece, so one of DC’s… X-Ray Vision by Deadly Chakram
2. Right, we had a ton of those this year due to the guest stars. The Nun's Tale by cuidadora
3. What? Oh…that’s Clark, on Kryptonite, watching Lex test Newton’s theories. So, not a sad fic after all. How about House of the Phoenix (Untitled on Mbs) by NostalgiaKick?
4. rotflol
LOIS: cat Harpy?
LANA: wave
LOIS: mad
Unfortunately, I haven’t read that one. I think… Unless… The Cabbie's Tale by VirginiaR. Sooo-ry! I have read that one. I just thought it was a neighbor not the cabbie.
5. At first, I had no idea. What sort of quote is that? No name. No context. Then again, that’s Toots waiting for her next gig (hopefully in the more or less fully clothed branch of show business) from The Showgirl's Tale by our quiz mistress clap
6. Bill. Questionable Evidence by Deadly Chakram. It’s really odd, thinking we’re crossing over between Revelation and Character laugh
7. The homeless dude. The Panhandler's Tale by Lynn S.M.
8. Oh, look! Preston Carter. peep Editorial Discretion by Deadly Chakram
LOIS: But Perry, please! He made a f— well…he wasn’t truthful to me. You *have* to print this. You can even remove the bit about his inlays for a fake lower back but you *have* to print the rest. I’ll be getting another Kerth for it, at least. Maybe even a Pulitzer!
PERRY: grumble Next time, I’ll shred the paper *and* burn what’s left. That Lane is way too inquisitive with the office trash.
9. Jack? The Runaway's Tale (Jack's Story) by Lynn S.M.
10. An NIA agent analyzing the recording of the various confessionals they have recorded? Forgiveness (Father Paul's POV) by Deadly Chakram?

Excerpts:
3. Still sticking to my guess.

Wow, I’m quite hopeful about this one. peep There have been some great hints!

Yes, due to the Canterbury Tales of Metropolis (thanks again for the suggestion, Virginia!), there are a lot of stories that can fit into both categories. And since these are the two largest categories (other than super-short), they don't all fit into this quiz, though the stories are spread throughout other quizzes. If there are some favorites that aren't in this quiz, remember that you can always leave recommendations. smile

No spoiler space needed here. I know I'm probably giving up some points and gold stars, but I'm not playing this round, and I wanted to let you know why.

I've caught my son's virus and in me it has had an added complication of a bacterial sinus infection. I'm feeling miserable, fatigued, and can't concentrate enough to take the quiz. Otherwise, I'd be all over it. When I have more energy, I'm sure I'll come back and read it.

How about I award you honorary points and stars for your stories? I suspect you'd recognize them. wink Feel better!

Oh--so sorry to hear you've been sick, Lynn. I had a cold that turned into exactly the issue you are dealing with (on the second round of antibiotics for it as I type this now--getting better, but pretty much the month of January was a wash).

Feel better. I'll be thinking about you smile !

Thanks for the well-wishes ladies. Laura, a month? You poor thing. I hope you feel 100% soon.

Susan, thanks for the honorary stars and points. Normally, I would recognize my own stories. I'm not sure whether I would right at the moment, though.

Health,
Lynn

Yeah...I caught the cold at the beginning of January, was pretty miserable with that for a couple weeks, then (finally--should have gone sooner) went to the doctor. Turns out it had turned into a sinus infection--along with an ear infection (because of the sinus infection, argh!). They gave me 10 days of antibiotics, with a refill in case things weren't 100% when complete. Well....things weren't 100% so I got the refill wink.

I'm on the last day of the refill script today. I'd say pretty much back to normal now--and have been for the last few days smile. The doctor told me that sinus infections are notoriously slow to recover from--and boy, in my case, she was totally correct.

Thinking good thoughts for you--and 'Health' smile. Keep us posted and feel better!
Laura
