I'm a bit confused ... what happened to Ralph being in charge at the Planet? Did I miss something?
Also, I think I've figured out what movie this is based on.

Aha! Update time! "Really it did. Occasionally folks will get together and do a Chivaree, usually it's just close friends and it is done to display their pleasure. My friends were just showing how pleased they are that I'm getting married." This is such a crazy custom. I don't know if I would be happy to have people singing at that hour of the night under my window, no matter what the reason!

Hi Anne, Thanks for the FDK! I'm a bit confused ... what happened to Ralph being in charge at the Planet? Did I miss something?
Also, I think I've figured out what movie this is based on. It did go by rather quickly. The publisher was going to put Claude in charge, not Ralph. That was when Lois told them that she had transferred Claude so they tapped Perry to fill in.

It is an old custom that us still practiced especially by country folk, I mean deep country. For example I think some of the Amish and Mininite sects still practice.

Hi Supesfan, Thanks for the FDK! "An Unusual Proposal" was a delightful series. I am genuinely looking forward to the next set of episodes. Married to Lois... humm.... I'm willing to bet Lois is going to get exactly what she deserves - Clark! Supes Fan. We are just over the half way mark. Still a long way to go. Anything can and is liable to happen. BTW: This is a stand alone story. It is not part of the Matchmaker Style set.
