I've created a page for H.G. Wells (also covering Tempus) on fanlore.org

http://fanlore.org/wiki/H.G._Wells_(Lois_and_Clark)

What it needs is some more recommendations for fan works - stories in which Wells and/or Tempus are major characters, also any other fan works such as art, gif sets, fanzine articles about the characters, etc. If you know how please add them to the page, if not leave a comment here and I'll do it.

What it probably doesn't need is more factual info about the show - that's not what this wiki is about - but if I've got anything horribly wrong please let me know or change it yourself it you know how.

Lovely.

No idea how to edit so I'll just point to these here and hope that someone else can do something with them.

Icons and avatars of Wells and Tempus.

In terms of fanfic, there are loads but I'll point you to my awesome beta - KenJ. Pretty much every single story has Wells as an extremely important element.

Yes, talk to KenJ -- he's written some excellent stories where H.G. Wells was a major player.

"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.”

Thanks!

Re KenJ, the problem there is that it's very difficult to point at just one work, especially since the naming of the stories doesn't make the order very clear.

Lynn S.M. has some great Tempus and Wells vignettes:

Irony of Ironies

Soul Mates?

Well's Revenge

I love the character Tempus and have used him often in my stories, but usually as catalyst as opposed to a major player. Here are a few of my vignettes where he (and/or Wells) play a larger roll:

Lois Rules! (A Story)

The Truth about Soul Mates

The Superman Effect

My stories where Tempus and Wells co-star, i.e. show up occasionally to cause havoc, but don't star:

Missing Lois

Green-Eyed Monster (They don't really show up in the sequel Nightfall Honeymoon)

Another Dimension, Another Time, Another Lois (Book 1 of the Wrong Trilogy) (Actually, Wells shows up more in Book 2: Wrong Place, Wrong Time, Wrong Clark, but it's still a WIP).

Thanks for the recommendations of my stories, Virginia. smile

Tempus plays a major role in Female Hawk's chilling Early Intervention.

OK, I've linked to those icons and

Fictitious Persons (2014) by Debbie G.
H Is for Hubris (2002) by Pam Jernigan
Irony of Ironies (2011) by Lynn S. M.
The Truth About Soul Mates (2012) By VirginiaR.
Early Intervention (2013) by FemaleHawk

I could really do with one more earlyish story where Wells in particular plays a big part.

Are there any good Wells videos?

Added Firestorm and Timestorm by Irene Dutch - recommended by Pat, I should have thought of them for myself!

Don't forget Christine Carr who wrote 'If We Could Live Our Lives Over', 'An Extraordinary Man Part 1 and Part 2', 'A Most Irregular Joe' and 'Ties That Bind.'

A Wellsian Tale, by Tank Wilson

Definitely a different take on H.G. Wells and Tempus.

"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.”

Thanks to you both.

I'll definitely add A Wellsian Tale, it's one of the stories I was thinking of when I wrote the entry but I couldn't remember who write it. I'll have to check the others out tomorrow.

I think I've got enough now anyway, I should really start looking at some of the other characters. I don't think there's a Lex Luthor entry other than the Smallville version, for example.

Ended up looking at the Carr stories tonight, I've added If We Could Live Our Lives Over and Ties That Bind. I really don't want to add more than one or two stories by any one author, but it wasn't an easy choice.

Don't forget that anyone can edit the Fanlore page, if anyone wants to add more or make changes please do!

In your page on H.G. Wells, the S3 episode Tempus Anyone? is described as her Clark and Wells rescuing Lois, and Lois saving both her Clark and Alt Clark. It reads as though her Clark traveled to the alt universe. He stayed in the original universe and never went to the alternate universe. Lois got rid of the kryptonite to rescue Alt Clark after Tempus exposed him as Superman. Or maybe that's Alt Superman...

Tempus plays a smaller, but critical role in my story, Clarkus Maximus. I'm mobile right now and can't link it. He's also the driving force behind the events in my comedy piece, Late Night At The Daily Planet.

OK, I've added Clarkus Maximus to the Wells page, I think the other will go better on the Metafic page.
