Lois and Clark are in *LOVE*. /Cue cupid, butterflies, and rainbows... or because it's December, snow, mistletoe, and romantic holiday lighting/ Lex Luthor is in jail, or better ... not even in their thoughts. Life is good. It's going to be the Best Christmas Ever! Now, write!

Or maybe it doesn't seem like it's going to be a happy holiday, because Lex Luthor is still alive (and somebody reminded Lois and Clark of that fact) and their wedding is coming up and Lois has turned into a Bridezilla, but somehow Clark manages to save the day and make it Lois's best Christmas EVER! (Or better yet, reverse that and Clark becomes Groomszilla! What? It could happen. AND Lois saves the day by reminding Clark to enjoy the holidays.)

Perhaps somebody gets an unexpectedly good holiday, possibly even involving a Christmas miracle. (Ellen stops nagging for once, Sam doesn't bring a robotic girlfriend as his date, Martha and Jonathan win an unexpected holiday in Rome and due to weather delays have to spend the holidays with Lois and Clark, just when Clark was beginning to miss spending the holidays with them. Lucy falls in love with a dot.com billionaire instead of Metallo. Perry and Alice get back together. Jimmy's absent dad comes to spend the holidays with him. Cat makes a sudden reappearance back in Metropolis.)

Anything goes, as long as it ends happy, happy, happy! Oh, well, and follows these rules...

RULES:
1) Unexpected bad weather (because what's more romantic than that, right?)
2) The story must be set in Metropolis or in Smallville. No traveling back and forth, or being set elsewhere.
3) Set in S3.

This is the 2014 Monthly Challenge Challenge for December 2014. Unlike EVERY RETAIL STORE OUT THERE, please start posting your December Holiday stories after Thanksgiving (11/27/2014) and remember to submit your finished story to LabRat at the Archives afterwards to fill up her Christmas stocking. smile

This Challenge is not to rewrite "Home is Where the Hurt Is" (S3's Christmas episode). If you want to do that, please take the November's Super Good Episode Rewrite Challenge instead.
