Ladies and gentlefolcs, there is currently, as of this writing, only one fic on the archive with a title that
starts with the letter x.
I find this very odd, especially since our fandom has a hero with X-ray vision who sometimes has to deal with people's xenophobia--when he's not trapped in a virtual reality programmed by a certain supervillain, that is. He's also got the kind of body that people would love to make X-rated movies about, though a X-mas family film might be more his style.
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to correct this strange and inexcusable dearth of X-fics by writing (and archiving) a fic whose title starts with an X. The title should be relevant to the story, though: no cheating by just slapping an X word onto an unrelated fic, unless you plan to go full-on Dada/surrealist with it. (Actually, that might be kind of cool...anyone else remember that Exquisite Corpse fic? Er, nevermind.)
