...found in Portobello Road, London, were Superman boxed DVD sets:
Adventures of Superman - 5th and 6th seasons (George Reeves)
Superman - The Theatrical Serials Collection (Kirk Alyn)
Both of which I got for £3 each, about $5, which is a lot less than Amazon charge in the UK. Both were US region 1 releases, fortunately I can play them. The nice part was that they are very clean, doubt they've ever been played. Unfortunately I have no idea when I'll actually get round to watching them, I have a VERY big stack of DVDs waiting to be watched, also about 30 laserdiscs I picked up recently.
The same vendor also had L&C series 2 and 4; for some reason 4 was the French release. I can't help wondering if there were more that sold before I got there...
