I'm writing this from Chuck's computer. I wanted to warn anyone who gets an email from me, or gets one from an apparent EZ Pass company, with an attached link: do not click on the link.

I was misguided enough to do so, only because I had accidentally got on a toll road here in Texas. Not knowing what to expect, I fell for the scam. As a result, I am having a lot of issues with my computer. My son-in-law got rid of the virus, but the damage is done. Fortunately most of my data was archived and is all right, but I am going to face about a week of putting my computer back together after my little lapse in judgment.

It can't be said too often: never click on a link or an attachment in an email. I'll remember it even more clearly after this fiasco, but since I have the email addresses of many of the members on this board in my address folder, I thought I had better drop a warning before you have to deal with repairing your computer because you trusted an email from me.
