Loving it...

If she had to move heaven and Earth, perhaps come back to haunt Perry and explain the story after they'd killed her, she would do it.

Love, love the turns of phrase you use in here, Janet! goofy

Loved this bit, too:
Quote
And *he* spent a lot of *his* time tucking his foot under a chair rung, or the edge of his coffee table, to keep from floating.

Or stumbling in the newsroom, or shifting around in his chair, or holding onto doorknobs to conceal his… lightness of being.

Lois probably thought he had weak ankles.

Or a terrible sense of balance.

And he’d had to reshape a couple of the Daily Planet’s doorknobs after leaving finger indentations in them.
laugh Wonderful stuff!

Now that I'm caught up--great job so far. I love how you add little touches to all the familiar scenes.

Cute! hyper

Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age.

Thank you all for your encouraging comments - I'm glad you like the story so far.

I'm sorry I haven't replied to your comments sooner - I've had wireless connection issues that limited the window in which I could post. All better now, though.

I've had fun writing this, and have found as I go along that there are many more opportunities for turning poor Clark's little problem into comedy than I originally anticipated.
