This is especially for Paul. He mentioned this song a little while ago and I said I'd try and work something out. wink

I had an absolute ball working on this vid - I've been cracking myself up for three days straight. *lol*

*Huge* thanks to Jessi, Jana, Jenn and Cat for hunting down clips of people waving and ...something else... I couldn't have done it without you guys. sloppy

The lyrics are rather hard to understand, so I've made a version with subtitles. There's one without, just cause I find 'em disturbing and I want to be able to watch the "default" video clip.

I really hope you'll have fun watching this little bit of craziness! laugh

But way too funny.

Only you, Batty.

Only you.

This is hilarious. You are able to take the most random of requests and make them into something fabulous. I loved all of the waving, and the balloon, and all of the moments from the New Krypton arc (it must have just killed you to watch Season 4; I'm so proud!) ... this is just entirely too fun!

LOL!!

That was awesome!!

Brilliant clip choices! Way better than anything I could have expected.

Love the intro.

I can't believe the timing on Zara and Ching's departures at the press conference. That's beautiful.

And Tez getting all annoyed.

And hee - "nets." Nice.

And all the waving! That's hilarious!

Hoo boy, what a tasty fish! (Or so Lois would have us believe... wink )

LOL about "side by side in life's great gene pool"! Just as I was marveling at the first match-up with the live mammal, you switched to the... BWAHAHA!! laugh

And yay for "DON'T PANIC!"

And "playing" the ship... beautiful. Brilliant touch there.

And that last "dissolve", too!

Hehe on the second round of "so long"s. Delightfully evil.

I'm all tingly. That was just... awesome.

Thank you!!

(Excuse me. I have to go watch it a third time now...)

When in doubt, think about penguins. It probably won't help, but at least it'll be fun.

ROFL!!! That vid was hilarious! laugh Glad to be of service on that one, yay!

Really, that vid was just awesome and funny laugh All those waves, and all those deaths! Woo! And the fishies! Or Dolphins, rather. So cuuuute!

I loved it! laugh

Mmm cheese.

I vid, therefor I am.

The hardest lesson is that love can be so fair to some, and so cruel to others. Even those who would be gods.

Wow, LnC and Hitchhiker seems like a strange match, but you made it seem like a match made in heaven! (Or... on Krypton? Or... in the guidebook to the universe?)

So funny and so well done! clap

I figured I should finally give you proper feedback wink

"You may not share our intellect..." - LOL! And Clark's suspicious look is hilarious!

"There's no point getting all annoyed" - Ewwww! That's a great one!

"Especially tiny tots" - awwww, great choice!

"Side by side in life's great gene pool" - ROFL! Yup... "great"... wink

Hehe - and that second round of "So long"s is just fantastic thumbsup

What a fun vid clap

Hi Lara,

I'm really running out of superlatives for your vids ... you are *so* the queen and I hail you.

I really like the song (generations of bfs were big fans of the Hitchhiker's Guide) and you matched the lyrics and rhythm in unexpected, but totally amazing ways.

Love the title dolphin dance routine - very fitting.

Incredible how Lara and Ching leaving perfectly matches the music.

"There's no point getting all annoyed" - I don't remember what that guy was called, but his ugly face is one of the last impressions I have of the original airing, before I stopped watching the show. Really scary.

You actually took a clip with Lex for "we thought that most of you were sweet" - perfect smile

The first "so long" montage is simply hilarious: loved how you took so many different people waving. The only one appearing more than once is Clark (three times) - plus 1 x Supes - not that I'm complaining wink

"A tasty fish" it is, indeed ...

All those dancers in animal costumes surely showed the spectrum of "life's great gene pool" smile

The second "so long" montage is as great as the first - loved that you vidded this so differently, loved that you used Lex's jump and, again, love the variety.

When he traces the engraved writing on the little starship, it really looks like he is playing that music on a strange Kryptonian instrument - so well done smile

And what end could be more perfect than "42"?

This was so much fun, thanks a lot smile
