This is "kinda sorta" for Labby, who mentioned that "you could have some fun with ZZ Tops' Sharp Dressed Man" -- well, guess what? I had a LOT of fun with that song. I hope you guys will have as much, watching the vid.

The song's been edited - shortened because most of it is instrumental and I didn't have any ideas left... erm... No, wait, I mean, I cut off the end because I just didn't have the heart to joke about Clark's ties for 4 whole minutes. Yes, that's what I mean. wink

OMG, I looooove it!

The song is so much fun and I have to admit that I was a bit shocked by how gross some of these ties are... yikes...

And you had me giggle lots about the cute speech balloons laugh

Great job thumbsup

LOL! That vid was awesome! And yummy, the cop uniform scene *swoons*

And wow! I didn't realize that there were all those Tie Pulling Scenes! Yummehs!

And I still say that those looked like giganormous amoebas being dragged down by gravity wink

Mmm cheese.

I vid, therefor I am.

The hardest lesson is that love can be so fair to some, and so cruel to others. Even those who would be gods.

Anne Shirley: I'm glad you spell your name with a "K." Katherine with a "K" is so much more alluring than Catherine with a "C." A "C" always looks so smug.

Ooo you finished! Congratulations! Great job!

And yes, good choice stopping. If you hadn't told me, I wouldn't have noticed. But that was just long enough, if you ask me.

Love the thought balloons, and the tie-pulling.

This was a really fun vid! smile

When in doubt, think about penguins. It probably won't help, but at least it'll be fun.

Oh yay! You finished it! smile

I knew the guy wore bad ties constantly, but I hadn't noticed how bad it really was! I loved the balloons.

Great job!

Yay! Great surprise to wake up to! [Linked Image]

Loved the balloons. And the clip you chose to go with 'You want me to wear what?'. [Linked Image]

Oh my! Wonderful!

Thanks for picking up the suggestion.

Athos: If you'd told us what you were doing, we might have been able to plan this properly.
Aramis: Yes, sorry.
Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.

But come on guys, his ties arn't *that* bad now are they? wink (okay I have to admit seeing a lot of them one after the other doesn't make them better)

But really Lara, this was super!!

It's not really my day today.

So I have to thank you - I was laughing a lot when I saw the clip. I got sidetracked for a few minutes. Thank you, Lara!

Very good work. I enjoyed reading the comments about sharp or not sharp. rotflol

Heee! This was an awesome thing to come home to after a long day at work last night.

I know I've said it a lot, but you really do rock. The clips were great, but the text bubbles really pushed it the extra mile. So funny!

Hey Lara,

Another fabulous vid, congratulations smile

I love how you use the little comic book-style boxes to tell the story of "the ties who wouldn't die":

Quote
he tries to get rid of the ties ...

they keep coming back ...

someone better call 911 things are about to go tragic
and tragic is the right word, indeed smile

Especially liked the footage for:

"cuff links" - hand cuffs wink

"you want me to wear what?" *lol

"but the girls like them, don't they" clap

er, think again, Clark ...

"he said sharp again" - "I don't think he meant this" rotflol

"top hat" - great look on his face (and the cowboy hat *yippie*)

cute to match "looking for love" with the proposal

and I'm extremely impressed you even found a "stick pin"

Also loved the pheromone-crazed Lois scenes you used for "every girl's crazy bout a sharp dressed man".

You rock!

Eva

P.S. As a bonus, YouTube recommended another Sharp Dressed Man video dealing with the suave, sharply dressed men of Moonlight, which also had some very, er, nice footage.
"Vampire, it's what's for dinner" - yummie smile
