Oh, I'm so glad you guys found this! This was hilarious. Poor Clark. PJ
"You told me you weren't like other men," she said, shaking her head at him when the storm of laughter had passed. He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement." "You can say that again," she told him. "I have a...." "Oh, shut up."

Very cute! Thanks for sharing Question...how old is Clark in this? In the begining I was picturing him grown up, but upon reading it, I guess he's either in his early teens or so...? -Breanna

Lol. I don't think I've seen this particular idea written about before, but it makes sense. When Clark first started to fly, it's quite likely that he'd have gotten lost a few times.

When in doubt, think about penguins. It probably won't help, but at least it'll be fun.

This is hilarious! I couldn't figure out why Jonathan was so stiff at first, until I realized that he probably thought Clark was somewhere on the farm, not lost in the wilds of rural America. Or Canada. (There's a London there, too.)
Fun little one!

Is it a bird?" "Is it a plane?" "No, it's just a guy in tights and a cape!"

Hi, Funny! "I'm at a Mobil Station on County Road G, but I'm not sure which county I'm in. The sign says, 'Welcome to New London,' but it doesn't say which state. The phone number has a 785 area code, so I think I'm getting closer. I've already been to a New London today, but that was area Code 314. I've seen three Springfields, two Rolling Prairies and two O'Fallons. But all I want is Smallville, Kansas."
"We'll get you home, Son. I promise," Jonathan vowed. Clark heard him cover the receiver. "Martha, get me the Road Atlas. I think its in the den."
Twenty minutes later, Clark hurried in the back door. While he had enjoyed the world, he was never so glad to be home. The next time he should take and big atlas. MAF

LOL! Too true to life. I should have known Clark would get lost at first. And just how do you ask 'which way to Kansas, as the crow flies?' I guess he's just lucky to still be on the same continent.

This was so funny! What a clever concept!. I guess this is when Clark starts memorizing road maps. At least (in this story) he's not one of those males who won't stop to ask directions....

LOL! Elisabeth, this is so cute! I'm glad James found it and posted it for us to read. I never would have guessed a story could be hilarious and adorable, all at once. Very nicely done. Great job! Kathy
