Hello everyone,

Here's my first video. The song is Shimmer by Fuel.

Making this video was a whole new ball game for me. I've made stuff with images before, but never video. Constructive criticism would be very helpful. Hopefully I'll get better at this with time.

I'm already working on another one. I'm so addicted to making these videos now. Every song I hear has potential.

Awesome job for your first vid!! Good clip choices. I was especially impressed with the editing! I didn't see any stray clips, and the clip-switching on beat was great! I really like the videos that tell a story rather than just straight clip-matching, and you did that well here.

The only constructive criticism I can offer is about the title cards, and this is just a personal preference, really. I'd nix the title card that reads "music video" because... well, we know that already. I personally like putting the song and artist at the beginning of the song, but it doesn't always work best that way, and again, that's just a personal preference.

I'm looking forward to seeing more videos from you! (And maybe a trailer would be fun, too! )

Making a trailer would be a lot of fun. Inspiration will probably strike one of these days and I'll make a trailer too.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've seen so many awesome videos that I was just dying to make one of my own. I finally got around to figuring out how to do it.
