The vidder muse finally caught a hold of me and I created my first MV. Now all I need to know is how to post it. I'm sure this has been asked before, but if anyone could help me I'd really appreciate it.

You can create an account at File Front and upload the file there, then post the URL here.

I also put mine on YouTube and post the link to that. It's a lot lower quality, but it takes less time to load.

First, you have to upload your video on a website or another host, and then you just copy and paste the url of your video here.

To upload your video, you can go to the website http://www.folcvideo.com, and then on the Upload page, and you follow the instructions. Or you can choose a free host of your choice. There is plenty ( http://www.rapidshare.de http://www.megaupload.com etc...)

Rapid Share, Mega Upload and other sites like that will only have the link available for a limited time. After that, it expires. Whereas the folcvideo site was especially created for Folcs to upload their videos to and never have the links expire.

For people like me, who don't always have time to watch the video when it comes out, it's a loss if the video was uploaded to shared sites.

<AKComm member mode on> Also, when the time for the Alt-Kerths comes around again, it's a lot of work to gather all the links. Especially if there are files that are no longer linked to. And we do like everyone to have a fair chance in winning an AK. <AKComm member mode off>

But it's your choice really. So whatever works best for you. Just have a look around.
