Okay guys, it's 3 am here and I just finished the project I started earlier this evening... inspiration suddenly struck, and I just couldn't stop the Muse.  Lonesome has always been one of my very favourite fanfics. Back when Rat wrote it, it made me cry buckets, and it takes a lot for me to cry when reading.  My biggest hope is that this trailer will make those who have yet to read Lonesome want to run to the archive and grab a copy.  And Rat, I hope you like it!  Are You Lonesome Tonight? Kaethel

Great job, Kae! Good clip selection, and using scenes from VD was positively inspired. Good music, too. And now I'm going to have to go read that awesome story again... aw, darn... see what you've made me do! <g>

Ooh, wow!!!!  Very menacing! And very, very passionate, too.  Love the way you keep returning to the asteroid - it really emphasises the threat. Really well done! Oh, and the 'minimelon productions' with the pig candle is hilarious!!  Wendy

That was BRILLIANT, Kae!!! Great work!! The repeating clips of the astroid really gave you a sense that time was running out. I think my favorite part was Lois making the phone call... and the over voice on the couch... inspired! Really great! And I think you win for longest trailer!!! (So far ) <i>EDIT: *That's* the pig candle?!?!

Yay!!! They liked it!!! As for the music, it's a piece called Death, it was written by the Yugoslavian composer Goran Bregovic, and it comes from the soundtrack of one of my very favourite movies: Arizona Dream (a very haunting Franco-American movie by Emir Kusturica, starring Johnny Depp). Thank you so much for your comments, everyone! It was great fun putting this trailer together, even though I'm kind of a zombie today (not used to going to bed so very late any more ).
