I just heard a song on the radio that was *so* Clark Kent, about a man telling a woman that he loves her and will always be there, even when everyone else has left...

It's "Last One Standing" by Emerson Drive. Here's the chorus:

Quote
Through the wind and the rain
Through the laughter and pain
Count on me
And when life isn't fair
And there's nobody there, I will be
In a world of pretenders
I am your defender
(I'll never surrender)
And when it all comes down
(Yeah, when it all comes down)
I'll be the last one standing
I could just picture clips of Lex, Dan, Deter... but always coming back to Clark smile

So... has anyone done this already? <g> I know there are a lot of videos that I haven't seen. And then, if they haven't, would someone like to? smile

"You told me you weren't like other men," she said, shaking her head at him when the storm of laughter had passed.
He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement."
"You can say that again," she told him.
"I have a...."
"Oh, shut up."
