I picked 'other' because I do not smoke and well I try to avoid SHS. There is some SHSthat smells nice to me, but I try adn run away from it. Unforuntaley I cannot get out of a moving car when pple light up and I'm often to much of a wimp/shy to say anything. Once I yelled at my step dad and I got grounded for 2 wks. I often yelled at him when he smoked. Talking didn't work. I even set his cigs on fire (up at the lake I thew them in the fire pit). I was made b/c my mum used to (she quit when she wanted to have me and didn't start again) and she ended up getting a collapsed lung b/c of it and the meanie lit up in front of her and she coughed, so I 'disposed' of his cigs. Now I'm mad at her b/c over 15 years later she still lets him smoke in front of her. Ugh. She is prone to cancer and I'm mad at her for opening herself up to carcinogens.
My step dad joined my family when I was 11 and I tried my best to stay away from his smoke. he was a ...meanie and smoked inside. Once I hit 18 or 19 he attempted to smoke outside, but it didn't work.
I had to work in a casino, where smoking was permitted. I finally transferred out of there (I worked in a restaruant in there) after 3 1/2 yrs. I won't go into why I was there so long. I developed mild asthma and I have a poor sence of smell now. My lungs are not 100%. Near the end it made me sooooooooooooo sooooooo sick. Once I blacked out it was so thick and I'd get constant headaches. I've tried to stay in a non-smoking environment for about four years. Now that I'm not a socailphob I'm mad at myself for staying in that environment for so long.
I hate smoking.
