Do you know of any programs for editing mp3 files? At least something that would allow me to crop parts of them?

Thanks,
AnnaBtG.

Try Audacity . It's free, handles a number of file formats, and has some good tools.

Make sure to also get the lame encoder , an add-on of sorts which allows the program to output/export mp3 files.

When in doubt, think about penguins. It probably won't help, but at least it'll be fun.

I second the Audacity rec--I have both that and a good mp3 encoder, and anything I do with audio I do in there, pretty much.

Don't point. You make holes in the air and the faeries escape.
