I had a CD-R, written up to about 500 MB with photographs - multisessioned. When we took more photographs, we thought we'd burn some of them at that disk.
I started to do it in Nero (not sure which version, if you need to know, can you tell me how to find out?). So I put in the CD and chose 'continue multisession disc'. Then came up a window which asked me to choose one of three sessions. I chose one. (By chance, so that's probably what messed things up. But I'm digressing.)
In the big screen, the bar showed that the CD was written up to 500 MB - but it showed an empty window. I figured it was an empty session of the multisession disc and went on with writing. I added 183 MB worth of pictures and burned it.
Now, when the burning was over, I went to check the disc and only the newly-burnt pictures were there! The others were gone!
