I just bought a laptop (yay!!) and I'm trying to 'move' there what I need from my old PC.

I burnt a CD with several things in order to copy them in the laptop. The word files and the WMP songs worked fine, but from the WMP videos (L&C music videos and trailers) I could only hear the sound, without seeing the pictures. (I don't know about the Real Video files; haven't downloaded Real One yet). Same was happening when I tried to play them directly from the CD.

Could it be a problem with the CD, or does copying require some special kind of treatment?

P.S.: Both computers have Windows XP.

Anna, you're probably missing some codecs.

Download the Nimo Codec Pack and let us know if you still have problems.

I went to the link you gave me, El, and there were two mirror links from there.
The first one gives me 'no matches found'.
The second gives me a page, where I'm supposed to click on something in order to download the pack. But when I do so I get an error page..

Am I doing something wrong?
