I lost my avatar too. what can I do to get it back?

Good news!

All the avatars have been uploaded again, so if you had an URL to a personalised avatar just use it. If you don't remember the URL or if you have any problem (i.e. avatar/how to's/techie problems and not problems like "my boyfriend cheated on me" or "I lost my car keys" ), just let me know and I'll try to help you.

Artemis, if you're still having problems - I assume the avatar you're using now isn't the one you want to use? - then if you post the pic you want to use in this thread, one of the admins (possibly the amazing Elena herself ) will fix it for you.

I think the problem with UBB is that the pic's extension is JPG instead of the default jpg. I added the extension written in capital letters in the control panel and now it should work.

Thanks, Elena. Yeah, I used all caps when I tried it. It was up for one post and then reverted to blank. Somehow it just never sticks. Your using the control panel seems to be the key.
