I figure since Lois and Clark is a show focused on journalists, and with the lead character (at least based on naming) being a woman journalists, this might be of interest. In recent media discussions of wikipedia categorization the claim has surfaced that "wikipedia has more articles on female pornographic film actors than on women poets". This is actually false, the only real fact was that one category was larger than the other, but the vast majority of women poets were just not specifically categorized as such. Largely as a result of edits done by myself, this claim can no longer be made for the American categories at least. However I live in fear that someone will get up and claim in a similar vain "young women will be discoraged to find that wikipedia has more articles on female pornographic film actors than it does on women jorunalists". So I have started adding the women journalists tag to some articles. For example the category "American newspaper reports and correspondents", contains articles on lots of women, only a few of whom have also been put in the category "American women journalists". I don't know if anyone here edits wikipedia, but if anyone does or wants to, I think it might be helpful if you came over and added this category. Just remember that people in the category "American women journalists" still need to be in the category "American journalists" or a non-gender specific sub-cat. I hope this is not too much technical speak.
