Rats, I missed it - did anyone download a copy and save it?

Marcus,

I tried e-mailing the issue to you, but it is too large for my e-mail clients to handle. (It's almost 15 MB.)

The file is in PDF format, and I don't have the tools to break it up.

If you have an alternate way of my getting the file to you (an ftp site, for example), I'd be happy to do so.

If no one else can get you the file, I could always send you screen captures of each of the pages, but I only want to do that as a last resort, since it would be somewhat time consuming.

Joy,
Lynn

edit: I figured out how I could send it without too much effort. I pasted a copy of each page into Word. The Word document is "only" 8.2 MB. Can your e-mail server handle attachments of that size? If so, I can send you the file in one piece. If not, I could break it into smaller chunks.

Lynn,

There's an application called "CutePDF" that might help in downsizing PDFs. It installs as a printer and allows you to easily create PDFs from other documents. If you "print" the PDF to CutePDF or a similar program you can change the resolution /file size through the printer resolution settings and create a smaller file.

Hope this helps,

Shallowford

Yes, 8.2mb is fine I think - do you have my email address?

I do. I got it from your website.

I will be sending the file from my netzero account rather than my usual one. My regular account has a 5MB limit for attachments, but my netzero account lets one e-mail 10MB attachments.

I just sent it out.

Enjoy,
Lynn

Doesn't seem to have reached me, I'm afraid, no idea why. Could I just double check that you're using myfirstname dot mylastname at gmail dot com?

I used the e-mail address available on your web site -- the ffutures account. Should I try sending it to your gmail account, or are you able to get it from the ffuteres one?

Crud - I thought that was deleted everywhere, I haven't used that email address in a VERY long time. Where did you see it?

The gmail address is the only one I use now.

I just sent the L&C issue to your gmail account.

I saw your old e-mail address at the bottom of the page http://www.forgottenfutures.co.uk/

I haven't time to write more if I want to make Sunday school on time. I'll check back in a few hours.

Joy,
Lynn

edit - I just got back from Sunday school and saw that the e-mail I had tried to send to your gmail account bounced because of a typo. I'm trying to send it again. Let's hope that third time's the charm. Please let me know if you don't receive it in the next hour or so.

OK, I've just saved it as a PDF optimized for small file size, some minor fuzziness of the images if you look closely but it's still pretty good, came out at 3 MB. If anyone else missed it I will be happy to send it.

Hi Marcus,

Glad it arrived safely. No problem about the incorrect link. No harm done.

Happy reading,
Lynn
