Anybody know how to get rid of the new version of FireFox (piece of junk that it is) and go back to the old one? I know I could uninstall and re-install but I hate to lose my bookmarks.

Export the bookmarks, uninstall and re-install, import the bookmarks.

I don't have Firefox, but it's cousin SeaMonkey has that option in the Manage Bookmark window (strg+b) -> Extras menu - Export/Import.

Theoretically you could also go into folder where your settings are stored and grab the bookmarks file.
