I just saw on the news that there was a massive earthquake in Christchurch yesterday (or today, they weren't clear on when). I hope all our Kiwi FoLCs are O.K.
From living in California, I'm experienced in earthquakes and that was a really serious one and took out major parts of downtown. 65 dead by the total of the morning news.
Best wishes and hopes for everyone.
regards
Artemis

I am on the West Coast of the South Island, 250km from Christchurch. The earthquake was felt all over the South Island. It is much much worse than the 7.1 of Sept 4th, 2010. For the latest news go to www.stuff.co.nz

It does look nasty. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and the rescue workers, and I am sure I am not alone in that.

Don't know if anyone else other than Marcus likes role playing games. One of the big big online stores is offering $300+ of games in pdf format for $20 with the $20 going to the New Zealand Red Cross.
