Three years ago, my niece, while waiting for a transplant, lost her battle with kidney disease at age 34.Her baby sister fell into a depression which has deepened.I'm at my wits' end of how to help her. She's scaring me. Any good thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. You guys are good. And thank you.SJH

Good thoughts and prayers are on your way. Maybe some family time all together would help? Depression is evil. Sometimes drug therapy will help give a kick start.
Good luck

What a difficult situation, it's always hard to watch a family member suffer.

IMHO, you could give her your full support, if she needs to talk be there for her and specialized help would also be good as to have a steady start into recuperation.

I hope she gets better, my thoughts go to you!
