Lol, probably so you'll go there more often and buy their pints at the supermarket. Still a nice thing to do every year. I remember last year the one I went to featured the local Fire Department scooping out the ice cream. The FD had "boots" up for donations to their cause but it was cool (funny and unexpetced, too) to see firefighters madly scooping out ice cream.
