So I found a site that offers "free" cell phone ringtones. And it has ones I'd like. But I've never done this before and so I'm wondering - is it legit? I mean, they're not going to sell my phone number (which they need) to all sorts of spam people, are they?

Also, will my carrier than charge me? (I have verizon if it matters.)

That's a tough one on the spam, but the legit ones have a thing to allow you to stop.

Your carrier would charge the download fee for that I'm pretty sure for using the WAP network. It's much like you being charged for the phone call.
