I read the other day that an English local council has banned its staff from using the word 'brainstorm' in case it offends epileptics. Instead, they must use...wait for it...'thought showers'.

Honestly. What irks me about these decisions is that the jumped up jobsworthys who issue these proclamations have very rarely even asked the people they claim to be protecting if they are actually offended.

I wondered what other gems of rampant PC nonsense FoLCs have found.
