So does anyone know if they are planning to still do a sequel to Superman Returns. The release date was suppose to be in 2009 which means they would have to start filming this year. I haven't seen anything on it. Not a big reader or watcher of entertainment news. Was wondering if someone had seen something on it.

The working title appears to be Superman: Man of Steel , which fits nicely with the Batman Begins sequel being "The Dark Knight".

It was scheduled for 2009, but, AFAIK, production has yet to begin. It seems there was some confusion with the (now indefinitely postponed) Justice League movie. So... it's being worked on, hopefully, but 2009 seems highly unlikely.
