Similar to the "Identify the spoilers" thread I just posted, in the following picture are hidden the names of 72 bands. Different things in the picture represent the band names. For example, the gorillas represent the band called "The Gorillaz". Apparently there are 72 but I have not been able to find them all. Maybe we can if we do it collaboratively? Here is the picture. It's pretty big, so I opted to link it instead of screwing with the board. Let's keep a list. I'll start with just one for now. Anyone else want to play? 1. The Gorillaz

Ok we're starting to have duplicates now. Someone has said that the surfers are two different things. So I guess we should specify the band with the aspect of the picture, and make sure we read the list very carefully.
And no, it isn't just bands. It's bands/performers, so Seal counts.
Also, I think the coin may be 50 Cent instead of the Presidents of the United States of America (it's a 50 cent piece)

I wonder if the fact that August 22, 2006 is the day marked on the calendar has any special significance.  I found this information on an event that day. EDIT: Oops, it's the 21st that is marked, not the 22nd. Ignore the link above. But I'm still wondering if that has any significance. malu

The two girls kissing might represent Heart. Ann and Nancy Wilson were the subject of a (totally false!) lesbian/incest rumor back when they were first breaking nationally. The cover of the "Dreamboat Annie" album didn't help.
