Here I am with another children's book post. Growing up, I enjoyed the Liza, Bill, and Jed Mysteries by Peggy Parish. There were 6 of them.

Hermit Dan (Later retitled The Mystery of Hermit Dan)

Ghosts of Cougar Island

I could swear there was a 7th book finishing off the series and in terms of the books, the children's summer at their grandparents house on Pirate Island. I remember something about the grandparents getting the opportunity to live their full time and having to think about doing so but ultimately deciding they would. Anyone on this?
