Elisabeth just informed me that my sister was found about an hour ago, by her husband, in her home. She was already dead.

I have no other details.

(Whoops, I forgot that I was logged in as Elisabeth...)
ok, details and particulars

My sister Cathy and her husband Roy got up this morning, showered and got ready for the day.

Cathy told Roy that she was going to call the telephone company to see about changing their service to save some money. Roy went down stairs to let the dogs out.

While he was downstairs, he heard an odd thump. By the time he came upstairs, Cathy was already turning blue and her skin was becoming mottled.

He called 911 and worked on her until the ambulance came. She never responded.

She probably had a seizure. She has had several in the past and each time they would have lost her if she hadn't been in a public place.

They are going to do an autopsy on Thursday to see what happened.

The funeral Saturday.

Cathy and Roy never had any children together, but Roy had kids from his first marriage.

Please pray for my Dad, Dick. We lost Mom almost exactly 6 months ago and he is taking it really hard, which is to be expected.

I cried like a baby in my cubicle when Elisabeth called me. She tried to get a hold of my boss, but he was away at lunch and the other contact numbers were out of date, so she had to call me for decisions.

We will be spending time with Dad until at least Sunday.

Our hearts are heavy. But God is there for us.

James and Elisabeth,

May the thoughts and prayers of everyone on this board reach you in your time of need. No one can truly understand what you must be feeling, but we all feel your pain. It is truly awful anytime someone close to you is lost.
I know it is only a small comfort, but at least you can know that she is no longer feeling any pain.
She is in Gods hands now.
