I was in Burbank a couple days ago and near Wendy's-when I was reminded of our Halloween Frosty discussion. I got to thinking why not have an event called something like "Frosty's, French Fries, and Folcs?" wink Cheesy enough to sound fun? smile I think it would be.

Mona

P.s. Wendy's is only 10 or so minutes away from where you out of town folcs will be staying. Well maybe 15 depending on the length of the 2 infamous lights you have to pass to get there.

In other news... Zoar you should eat Santoro's which is just down from those lights if you like sub sandwiches.

*Jojo who probably won't be attending LAFF but would come out and eat Wendy's with you guys*

I personally don't think I'd want to go to Wendy's given that A. I hate fast food, and B. They have them here, and pretty much everywhere, but that is just me.

We will have meetings on IRC later this spring to discuss what we're going to do ... I believe we will be touring one of the studios and having a beach party, among other things.

I'm not a big fast food eater either but I do like Frosties and haven't had one in forever. I could always grab food from some place close by (maybe that sub place jojo mentioned) and then go sit and have a frosty with everyone. smile

Looking forward to it!!!

Lol, JoJo, you know which lights I mean. I admit it took me a sec to look down and see your in LA. They are long! Thanks for the recommendation. The truth is I don't eat meat. If I'm going to a fast food (and know in advance and am really hungry0 I generally will bring a sanwich or something with. I do admit to always liking fries and as for frosty's well they aren't "real ice cream" but since the real 'cream is number one on my fav treat list, there you have it. laugh

I blame Costco. frown They weren't terrible until that went in.

It's a shame you don't eat meat. I don't know if they have a veggie sub... but I do know the veggies are why everyone loves them so much!

~Jojo, who suggest you eat Falafel at Zankou instead then.

: p to Costco or at least that one. I borrowed a friend's club card one time and went to check it out and for some reason their lights really hurt my poor eyes. Real strong.

I'm confused. Are you also suggesting we take a trip to Costco at LAFF?

I go every week, so I'm not too interested in that, either, but maybe people from other countries may want to see ... a bulk warehouse? Who needs Superman when you can see pallets of toilet paper! laugh

Lol, sorry, but it is funny because Costco is not somewhere I frequent (am not even a member) so certainly did not mean to suggest we trek there as a group. All JoJo and I meant was that Wendy's is sort of around the corner from Costco. Sorry about that. blush

Back closer to the Holiday Inn is an Downtown Burbank which has some interesting shops including 1 dollar bookstore and another movie/bookstore that has a ton of kid's books for 50 cents, romance for 25 cents and others for real cheap. It's a cool place to visit if you don't mind having to shift through the stacks. Yes, the Media Center Mall (indoor) is down the street.

Well, there's always prostitution, but that may make me less willing to share a room with you ...
