Have you ever wonder that t.v. shows are not coming back with new shows because of the writers strike. Has it effect the broads? Daily wonders 2/01/08
I will and always be a big fan of Lois and Clark forever and forever.

These boards? I'm not sure why it would affect us. LNC isn't a new show and a lack of new material on screen hasn't seemed to hamper FoLC imagination so far. If you mean is it affecting FoLCs, then I'm sure it is. For myself, I'm pretty much fretting over new Winchester boys' adventures being curtailed! LabRat

I'm antsy because of Heroes, and Desperate Housewives, and a few other shows. I know there are a few series that won't continue their season if the strike ends soon. They'll just use this season as a short season and start fresh in the fall.

They'll just use this season as a short season and start fresh in the fall. Even that wouldn't be so bad. The ones that concern me are the brand new shows, which are still finding their feet and which may just vanish altogether, robbed of their chance to grow. LabRat

That's already happened with Journeyman, a series John was really enjoying and has now been cancelled. Wendy

Bah! I really liked Journeyman too.
Mulder: Imagine if you could come back and take out five people who had caused you to suffer. Who would they be? Scully: I only get five? Mulder: I remembered your birthday this year, didn't I, Scully?

I really liked it, too. But my understanding is that the strike helped Journeyman, that it might have lasted an even briefer time if not for the strike and lack of other new programming.
