Just posting to let people know that my grandfather just died.

I'm not really sure what to add to that.

And Mom and Dad just got home.


When in doubt, think about penguins. It probably won't help, but at least it'll be fun.

My sincere condolensces, HatMan. It's been 15 years since my own beloved Grandfather suddenly passed on and I sure still miss him. Hug to you.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, Paul. My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time. I'm sure that you have many warm memories of your grandfather to bring you solace.

I lost my grandma two years ago. Cancer. She was so vital and then bam. Everything just taken away, without rhyme or reason.

Just letting you know that others have been where you are.

I'm sorry Paul. Loosing a grandfather is never easy. frown One of mine died two years ago after being sick for a very long time.

Thanks to everyone who expressed their sympathies here and elsewhere.

He had a long life, a loving family, and a fairly easy end. I think that's as much as any of us can really ask for.

Now those of us who are left just have to find our way in this new world.
