Hooray for front-page journalists.

I think, therefore, I get bananas.

When in doubt, think about time travel conundrums. You'll confuse yourself so you can forget what you were in doubt about.

What's the difference between ignorance, apathy, and ambivalence?

Yea! D8a's not that far away from having a KERTH!

Now, if only he would write on that level.

Busted down to "feature writer"! Curiously enough, no longer having a Merriweather, Kerth or Pulitzer now gives me something to work towards. <g>

I'm incentivized! I'll start replying to everything! I'll send PM's to everyone!

Ah - but the status is in no way an indication of the quality of the writer, Sue. Or you'd have Queen status, obviously. wink

Thanks for typing the titles and post thresholds out for everyone, LabRat! goofy We're very, very open to correction by anyone who knows better - or, also, to suggestions for better titles. It's the work of seconds to change titles, so it's no problem at all if consensus is that people want something different.

Hey, that's pretty cool! Thanks for adding that, Wendy.

Well, I didn't so much type them out as just cut and paste them from the FAQ. Only took two seconds, so don't imagine I was gallantly slaving away for hours. laugh

Oh, but I had this mental picture of a poor little lab rat typing away on an eensy-weensy custom-made keyboard. Occasionally you'd pause and tip your head up in that cute way that rodents have, your little pink nose twitching with excitement as the right increments of posts for each level occured to you. And then, when it was finally done and you'd managed to jump on the computer's mouse to click "save" (as opposed to that mouse in the next cage who's been giving you the eye for some time now), you took a few laps in your wheel to celebrate a job well done.

Have a sunflower seed on me for all your hard (or not so hard) work.

Sue (working on that post count...)

Gossip columnist? I'm a gossip columnist?!

That's... Well... So very, very unlikely!

I don't smooze. I don't party with celebs. My camera doesn't have a very long papparazzi lens. And I don't have a subscription to 'Hello' or 'Heat' or any of those other grim celebrity magazines that turn up from time to time in the hairdressers where, on the rare occasions that I have picked the magazines up, I have failed to recognise 95% of the people they talk about and the gossip has been as out of date as an analogue mobile phone. (Now, when I go to the hairdressers, I take a good novel with me.)

I'd better get busy and work towards the next level. At least I could live with being a Feature Writer! wink

<DJ makes a post just to see what level she's at...>

I do believe I'm over 2000 posts - so my Pulitzer status should be safe. <g>

<runs off to check as she posts...>

EDITED -- ACK!!! What happened? I have 2044 posts and I still only have a Kerth - I'm getting jipped!

<DJ wanders out of the thread pouting... what does a girl have to do around here....>

Darn, I could have sworn I used to have Kerth. More than one, in fact. laugh

Okay, the next story I post is going to get split up into a *lot* of parts. One sentence per post isn't excessive, is it?

LOL, Yvonne. Just a tad. wink

Wasn't there a forum where post counts didn't count? Or am I thinking of something else? laugh

I used to hang out in a SG1 forum where posts from newbies didn't count towards their status. They had to post a certain number - 50 or so, before they got credit.

I guess it was to stop people wasting posts, but I always thought it was kind of unfair discrimination myself. laugh

Bah, I had a Pulitzer just before the board went down. It felt like I didn't have anything to strive for anymore, luckily it didn't last long. Let's separate the wheat from the chaff. laugh

Liked the copyboy title.
