I thought this might be kinda fun to try...

You take two people (Real, Fictional, Male, Female, any combo) who have the same last name, and splice together the clues about them. Whoever guesses the name goes next.

So, sound interesting? Here's number one:

Jefferson (George and Thomas)

Here's one: He was convicted of embezzlement after taking the (red or blue, can't remember) pill.

Anderson? (I can't remember one first name, and have no idea about the other, but I'm thinking The Matrix.)

Arthur and Anthony, I believe. And yes, Anthony Anderson becomes Neo.

Okie doke. I guess it's my turn. I'll have to think of one later, and post while I'm at work.

Okay, here goes:

This African-American actor never played a doctor in Korea.

Nope. Although it works (sort of). Since no one else has guessed, I'll just tell the name I was thinking of:

Pierce (Warren and Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye")

See, the "doctor in Korea" was supposed to be the name of the character, not the actor.

Your turn.

I figured the doctor was Hawkeye Pierce, but I didn't know about Warren.

Actually, I didn't either, until I was looking for another "Pierce." I just wanted to use Hawkeye's name--I'm a bit obsessed with M*A*S*H, you see. wink

Yes, according to Wikipedia (can't link; type in browser address line en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neo_(The_Matrix) ) smile :

Quote
Neo, also known as Thomas A Anderson, (born March 11, 1962 in Capital City, by the Matrix's reckoning) is the central fictional character in the movies The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, and The Matrix Revolutions. He is sometimes referred to as The One and within the Matrix discovers he has extraordinary abilities which he can use to further the cause of a free humanity. In all three movies he is played by Keanu Reeves. The name "Thomas Anderson" is likely a reference to the main character from It Conquered the World, Tom Anderson.
