Thanks! I had a great birthday, actually. My best friend Annika's daughter Johanna graduated, finishing the "gymnasium", something a little more advanced than high school, and I was invited to their celebration. We had a sort of joint graduation celebration and birthday party, with about about fifty guests aged five to eighty-five. All kinds of people were there, ex-husbands with new girlfriends, brothers-in-law from America (hi, Ray!!!), twin sisters of boyfriends, sickly but kindly old neighbours, musicians and singers and what not... We spent a light Nordic summer evening out in a party tent, barbecuing, laughing and singing!

I'm really late, but I'm glad to hear your birthday was good. Nothing like singing in a tent to celebrate.
