Maybe this goes under How To but I'm not sure since it has nothing to do with the MBs...

Anyway, I have a radio show on my HD that's about an hour long. There's a song in there that's about 3 *minutes* long, and I want to cut it so that I can just get the song. I know cutting up music must be possible (or else how would the Vids exist?) but when I tried to use WMM (and I have no idea how to use that, btw) I couldn't import the realplayer file.

So once again, I beseech you kind, intelligent FoLCs...

Do you still need a reply for this?

I've found that the easiest way to extract an audio clip of any file type while by-passing any of its copy-protect features is simply to connect the line-out port in your computer to a line-in port. Then, play the file in your regular player and use any program with a recording feature (eg sound recorder) to record the music coming from the line-in port.

Hope this helps.
