I just found out one of my poems, a haiku, is being published in the Feb. print edition of Scifaikuest. It's a science fiction poetry magazine.

I believe there's a hero in all of us that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams. -- Aunt May, Spider-Man 2

"You told me you weren't like other men," she said, shaking her head at him when the storm of laughter had passed.
He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement."
"You can say that again," she told him.
"I have a...."
"Oh, shut up."

Thanks. This isn't my first time being published, but I've only had a couple of poems published in print.

Can you post it here? Or should it not be seen except in the magazine??

It's probably on my poetry blog in the archives.

http://www.cascadingmoondust.com

The title of it was "Nebulous Nightmares."

There was nothing in their guidelines about it being previously published in a different type of market that I saw, but to be safe, I'll wait until after Feb. before posting it anywhere else online.

Edit: Yep, I found it posted on May 2nd.

The latest print edition of Scifaikuest just came out. My poem is there. I got a copy.

I got paid a whole dollar for it. Good thing I have a day job.
