Canada dominated and won!!! I'm really happy. Good hitting, great scoring and wonderful happy and mostly drunk fans.(they sold more beers in the first two Canadian games than in a whole season of the Fighting Sioux - univeristy teams of the University of North Dakota. They have a very nice campus.)
I wish I was there. Only a few hours drive away. SIGH. Actually I was going to get tickets, but I'm glad I changed my mind b/c I would have either got stuck at the border like many others, stuck in Grand Forks or stuck in Wpg with tickets and no hockey. Hrumph.
I was told that since the US didn't get to be in the gold medal round it wasn't televised in the US. Hey, it's NFL season.
Congrats in getting a medal my US neighbors!
Hope to see the boys play next year. and thanks for taking care of the stranded hockey fans.
