Margot Kidder, who played Lois Lane in the four Superman movies, will be playing Bridgette Crosby, emissary to Dr. Virgil Swann, in at least two episodes of Smallville, the WB has announced. Her first episode will be the fourth season premiere, "Crusade," and then the character will return again in the sixth episode, "Transference."
The role will reunite Margot Kidder with Annette O'Toole, who played Lana Lang in Superman III.
