I figured this was the right folder. It's not for a story, so...

I'm looking for scenes - preferably in S1/S2 - where L&C might be in a bar, or have a glass of alcohol in their hands.

I know there's that ep at the Metro Club, there's the bachelor auction, there's TOGOM obviously...

anything else?

And The Rival

(Clark has a drink at one point in this too)

(That one's with Lex though - Barbarians at the Planet.)

Perry's retirement do. And now I'm going to stop!

Anyone else get the impression the Ellen's not the only Lane with a drinking problem? goofy

Guess who had very little to do this evening!

There's that scene in Vatman where Lois is preparing for "Superman" to come over and her bottle of champagne overflows, so she takes a nice big swig of it.

Oh! There's also that scene in The Phoenix.

Hmm, I'll think about it some more and probably come up with a few.

They're not in a bar, but one of my favourite alcohol scenes is, of course, the end of Home Is Where the Hurt Is, where they're on the balcony doing that linking arms thing with glasses of wine.

/me pauses for a WAFFy sigh...

LabRat smile

Athos: If you'd told us what you were doing, we might have been able to plan this properly.
Aramis: Yes, sorry.
Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.

okay, now you scare me a little, gr8shades wink

Honestly, I am so impressed - I even developed several explanatory theories on the spot:

1. you looked for this type of picture before and it took you days the last time around

2. you have a really, really good memory and are
2a) a fervent supporter of the "no alcohol" movement so you notice these things specifically
2b) a fervent supporter of the all you can drink movement so you notice these things specifically

3. you have a big large database on your computer in which you have cataloged and labelled every LnC scene in accordance with your cataloging and labelling manual which describes 457 different features in 58 useful categories like "Lois Hair", "Clark Tie", "Cookware present in shot" and the like

Either way, from now on you're my go-to woman should I ever wonder about any scene, fact or circumstance in LnC smile

Best,

Eva

You got it! I am an elephant. Actually it only took me about an hour to find those. The trick is to know where to look...
