It is silly the way I now notice street signs when I'm not really looking at them. I posted previously a picture of the street sign for "Lois Lane" in Berlin, MD. Well I was on my way to Assatague Island State Park to look at the ponies and right on Route 611 is a sign for Clark Road. If there hadn't been cars behind me I would have stopped to take a picture.

I know this is a silly post but I had to tell someone about the sign and figured someone here might appreciate it. blush goofy

I love noticing those things, too. laugh

Not too far from me is Perry Drive, and there's also a Lois something-or-other across town, might be a Lane, but I think that's also a Drive (they really missed out on a good opportunity there).

My office has a wonderful view of Clark Street, in Montreal.

I'll bring my camera to work next week and take a picture. smile

I went to Las Vegas shortly after Sue wrote "Honeymoon in ... Vegas" and I laughed because the city is in Clark County, Nevada.

Clark: "You don't even know the meaning of the word 'humility,' do you?"

Lois: "Never had a need to find out its meaning."

There's a pizza place named Perry's here as well as a locksmiths named L&C. I had a laugh at it when I noticed it for the first time yesterday even though I've passed the place so many times. Also I just bought a car the plates have the initials CK in them.

I'm sure I shouldn't say this, but I have a picture of Sue next to a sign that says Kent construction-something-or-other.

*lol*

LOL - I'd forgotten about that! The truth is, Lara was ready to walk past the "Kent Construction" sign when I bebopped over to it and said, "Ha! Kent! Take a picture!"

Sue (who was dorky enough to pick out the mug for "Lane Technologies" when her boss was giving away swag - and keeps it on her desk)

Lois: You know, I have a funny feeling that you didn't tell me your biggest secret.

Clark: Well, just to put your little mind at ease, Lois, you're right.

One of my oldest child's best friends lives a block away from Kent Lane, but the sign only says Kent La. so taking a picture would be a waste of time.

I've posted this before but for me the coolest thing was visiting Metropolis and finding this sign:

They're not signs, but I have to smile to myself whenever I talk to a customer over the phone who has the same name as an LnC character. I've talked to plenty of Loises, a Clark, Jimmy, and even a Perry, and Lana! The funny part was that this Lana pronounced her name the same way Dean said it in the show...as apposed to how it's pronounced in Smallville.

I work for Verizon Wireless Customer Service, so believe me, I do see my share of names, and I never keep count. It's still fun though. It's especially fun when you talk to those names all within the same day. lol cool

I had made a post about it, too. Includes photo laugh

I've got a Kent Circle in my neighborhood.

Nothing more exciting though frown

(About Lois & Clark)
Perry: Son, you just hit the bulls eye. It's like we're supporting characters in some TV show and it's only about them.
Jimmy: Yeah! It's like all we do is advance their plots.
Perry: To tell you the truth, I'm sick of it.
Jimmy: Man, me too!
